Email auto-responders or mail robots as our system calls them are a very useful addition to many companies' email system. They are very simple to set up and comprise of a standard email that is sent out as an automated reply to an email coming in to a certain designated email address.
If that sounds complicated then here is an example of a mail robot.
If you set up a mail robot for an unused email address like support@yourdomain.co.uk once someone sends an email to that address they will get an automated email back with a pre-typed message that you set up. The original message that they sent will then be forwarded to a real email address you specify so they might get "Thank you for your message, we have received it and will respond to it shortly. Please do not reply top this email as it automated"
With a bit of imagination we are sure that you could find plenty of uses for this extremely useful facility. |
